Folded Packing for TPU Cosmetic Bags: PO Polybags or Tissue Paper?

Compare folded packing, individual PO polybags and tissue-paper wrapping for empty TPU cosmetic bags. Agree the packing route before comparing quotations.

For empty TPU cosmetic bags that a buyer will fill after delivery, Rivta uses folded packing to keep the packing cost practical. The bag’s shipping form and its finished presentation serve different jobs. Agree the folded format and the individual wrapping before comparing quotations.

Our factory experience points to three useful decisions: keep the empty bag folded for the cost-conscious route, choose how each unit is separated, and confirm what the receiving team needs to do before adding the products. Individual PO polybags and tissue-paper wrapping are two packing routes we use. Some buyers request paper wrapping because it better matches their packaging preferences.

If you are selecting the pouch itself, start with our custom clear cosmetic bag options. This guide addresses the next decision: how the empty bags should arrive at your filling operation.

Quote the empty bag’s shipping form, not just its display shape

A product photograph usually helps a buyer understand the pouch’s appearance. It does not specify whether the empty bag will be folded or held upright inside its shipping pack. That detail belongs in the purchasing brief.

In the TPU projects described by our factory, buyers want the bag cost to remain practical. Keeping every empty pouch in its three-dimensional presentation shape makes the packing route substantially more expensive. Folded packing is therefore a deliberate choice, rather than an omitted finishing step.

Our ordinary experience is that the bags reach the customer in a condition suitable for opening and packing their products. The relevant buying question is whether your team receives empty bags for later filling, or needs a different presentation on receipt.

Write the requirement plainly: “Supply empty TPU pouches in the agreed folded packing format; our team will open and fill them after receipt.” If your project instead needs bags kept upright, specify that before the quotation so the factory can review the alternative packing requirement.

Compare the same pouch, quantity and delivery scope when discussing the two formats. Request the packing cost separately where possible. A useful comparison shows what is included; it does not assume a universal saving per bag.

Choose the unit wrapping for your packing preference

Folded packing describes the bag’s form. The unit wrapping describes how one bag is kept separate from another. Make both choices explicit.

Individual PO polybag

Rivta uses one PO polybag per pouch as an individual packing route. In our factory experience, this separation prevents direct bag-to-bag sticking in the packing arrangements described here.

Put “one empty pouch per PO polybag” in the specification when this is your chosen route. Confirm the exact unit bag with the supplier, together with any label that belongs on it.

Tissue-paper wrapping

Wrapping the whole pouch in tissue paper is another route Rivta uses. We choose this option for some buyers who request paper wrapping to match their environmental packaging preferences.

Specify that the whole pouch is wrapped, and confirm how the wrap is closed and whether any additional unit packaging is required. Describe the agreed materials directly; paper wrapping by itself is not a claim about the environmental performance of the TPU pouch.

Neither route needs to be described as the universal choice for every order. A buyer who accepts a PO polybag and a buyer who requests paper wrapping are giving different packing instructions. The factory should quote and prepare the route you actually intend to use.

A short packing brief your receiving team can use

Keep the instruction tied to one bag style. The following brief separates the factory’s empty-bag packing from the work your team performs after receipt.

Bag and supply state
[Style / approved sample reference]; empty TPU cosmetic pouches.
Shipping form
Folded, following the agreed packing reference.
Individual wrapping
[One PO polybag per pouch / tissue paper around the whole pouch].
Additional packing components
[Closure, label or other component, if required].
Work after receipt
Our team will open the bags and add [product set].
Different arrival requirements
[State any requirement for upright presentation or another packing arrangement].

Ask for a packed sample or clear packing photographs showing the selected route, then have the person responsible for receiving and filling review it. The visual reference should show the folded bag, its complete individual wrapping, and how the unit will be opened. This is more useful than approving an upright product photograph alone.

For barcode files, SKU separation and carton marks, use our separate retail packaging handoff guide. Those details can accompany this brief without changing the choice between folded packing and upright presentation.

Send the packing choice with your TPU pouch enquiry

Send the pouch style, quantity, intended product set, where the bags will be filled, and your preference for PO polybags or tissue-paper wrapping. Add any different arrival requirement before requesting the quote.

You can browse the TPU bag product route for style selection. When the pouch is already chosen, the next useful step is a packing review for that specific bag.

The packing experience here concerns empty TPU bags supplied for customers to open and fill. The exact format, wrapping and cost should be agreed for the selected construction and order; a product presentation photo is not the packing reference.
